Brandon Snyder

“I am proud of my journey from Valley School alumnus to Upper School science teacher. Valley School is where I developed the passion for science that I now enjoy sharing with my students. I love to learn about nature, history, cultures, and language. Some of my best travel experiences have been with students in Spain, Ireland, and New Mexico.”

Brandon Snyder is a passionate scientist, adventurer, and educator. As a Valley School alumnus, he is extremely grateful for the educational opportunities afforded to him throughout his life. After graduating from St. Vincent College in 2015 with a B.A. in Biology, Brandon began his professional career as Valley School’s Upper School science teacher. On a constant quest for knowledge and experiences, he has traveled and furthered his education as a Valley School employee. In 2020, he earned his M.S. in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis. Some of his proudest and dearest accomplishments as a Valley School employee have been on class trips to New Mexico, New York, Spain, and Ireland. He hopes to inspire students to develop skills that will lead them to success as future scientists, engineers, and global citizens. Brandon aims to never stop learning, and urges those around him to do the same.
