Jump into a week of service learning within our community! This year, our service work will highlight gardens and outdoor landscapes that make our area unique. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn more while also helping others. During the week, campers will enjoy time on our beautiful campus and off-site exploring the local area.

 

What would it take to land a space vehicle on MARS? How could humans build a colony on the moon? Answer these questions and more during your week of experiments, activities, and engineering challenges that will emulate actual work being done by scientists each day.

 

Sign up for a fast-paced, skill-building week of soccer with Valley School soccer coaches and past players. This camp will challenge every player and raise the skill level of new enthusiasts. Special focus will be given to developing skills that highlight skillful team play and top-notch communication.

 

Campers will explore how to use the pottery wheel and create a basic wheel-thrown piece under the expert guidance of a master instructor, Amy Roadman. The camp will highlight foundational skills and introduce centering, throwing, forming, and decoration. In addition to wheelwork, students will also learn decorative techniques and how to add embellishments such as handles. All products must be picked up at camp later due to the firing process required to finalize each piece.

 

Just when you thought Battle Camp could not get more epic, Mr. Croley adds a new battle element and extreme challenge aspect! Gather your team and start prepping for the twists and turns of Battle Camp Xtreme. The week starts with strategy and course-building! And the weekends with our traditional laser tag event.

 

“Accio” summer! The famous Harry Potter Camp is back by popular demand! Brandon Snyder, our resident Harry Potter expert, is planning a magical week of games, trivia, potions, wand-building, and more!

 

Spend an entire week tinkering and testing out tech tools around the Valley School campus. Campers will have the opportunity to choose their own tech tools and explore different aspects of robotics, coding, podcasts, and a whole tech toolbox of fun apps, games, and challenges
