“Sharing the language and cultures of the countries I have lived in is one of my greatest passions.”
Grades 7, 8 Social Studies Teacher
Curriculum Coach
Grade 7 Advisor
Lacrosse Coach

Born and raised in Ohio, I moved to Pennsylvania to pursue education and lacrosse at Saint Vincent College. As a member of the Bearcat community, I earned my bachelor’s in history (’10) and master's in Curriculum and Instruction (’18). It was at St. Vincent that I met and married my wife, Erin. We are incredibly blessed to have two children, Tyler and Hailey.
I believe that the teaching of history drives the development of skills that are transferable to other settings. I focus on helping students develop their voice and make big-picture connections. I also emphasize the importance of student advocacy. One of my many goals is to help students find a passion for learning and to encourage their curiosity—in essence, to foster their desire for lifelong learning.
