Valley School Stories

FIFTH GRADE WAX MUSEUM

Welcome to Valley School’s very own WAX MUSEUM.  Our 5th-grade students transformed into an inventor of their choice- someone who cultivated a positive life lesson that could be tied back to the Valley Core Values- and came to life to inform others!!

The students were responsible for conducting research on their respective inventors and then wrote informational papers – learning how to document sources and paraphrase.  Their papers were then pared back into a script in order to be memorized and recited at the Wax Museum.  In addition, each student wrote an “Ode to the Invention, created a digital timeline on Canva, and created a poster to tie the project together.

The Wax Museum was open to Valley School students, teachers & faculty, and family & friends.  All who were able to attend were enlightened by the 5th-graders knowledge, costumes, and charisma- well done!
