8th-GRADERS DECORATE THE LIGONIER DIAMOND FOR THE HOLIDAYS
On Wednesday, November 8, 8th-grade students accompanied by Mrs. Nolfi, Mr. Snyder, and Mrs. Stewart collaborated with the Ligonier Borough employees, downtown Ligonier merchants, and the Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors to festively decorate Ligonier Diamond Park for the upcoming holidays.
The students continued the skills learned during their service opportunities from earlier this school year to build community, one of our Valley Core Values. What a great way to share your time and talents with our small-town, 8th-graders and their teachers! We can’t wait to see the Diamond with its twinkling lights at Ligonier’s community Light-Up Night in a few weeks!
In an environment that is safe, challenging, nurturing, and disciplined, Valley School provides a balanced and strong program of study for a diverse group of children. Our goal is to stimulate in each young person lifelong habits of moral behavior, seeking wisdom, and doing good works for others.
