Combine ART with ADVENTURE and join this camp designed for older campers only. Amy Roadman, our expert art instructor, will lead a group of campers through an exploration of art throughout our area. Their off-campus travels will include a visit to the Westmoreland Museum of Art and Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art. Both destinations will facilitate exclusive programs for our campers. Stain glass, sculpture, and metalwork will activate all levels of interest. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!

 

Expert designers and bakers will work with campers to imagine, create, build, and possibly eat gingerbread structures like no other! Campers will learn special techniques and superb secrets that they can put into action in the Valley School kitchen.

 

Campers will join our game master, Mr. Moore for a week of imagining and building a unique game. At the close of the week, games will be shared, and played, and prizes awarded by expert judges. Bring your ideas and gaming energy!

 

 

Chain reaction actions! Dive into a week of exploring the engineering design process by creating and testing a Rube Goldberg Machine. Guest instructor and science enthusiast, Mr. Storey will be on site to lead campers through epic action, discovery, and fun!

 

Compete all week against your friends for the ultimate Gold Medal Prize! Events will include popular summer Olympic sports as well as sports or challenges that are unique to Valley Soar Camp!

 

What challenge could you accomplish in just one minute? Jump into this fast-paced camp for a week’s worth of physical challenges, brain-busters, and mystery games. Campers will explore every corner of the campus as they enjoy a well-designed sampling of camp activities. Prizes included!

 

Lights! Mikes! Music! Join theater enthusiasts and expert staff Brian and Melissa Jinks for a week of theater and performance. Campers of all ability levels will be able to shine in a mini-musical production to be performed at the close of the week. The show is a mystery!
